Ingredients for an amazing chili

-Carrots

-Celery

-Onions

-Dried Lentils

-Olive oil

-Seasonings: paprika, cumin, chipotle chili powder

-Cans: 28 oz crushed tomatoes, 14.5 oz fire roasted diced tomatoes, 3 cans of 15.5 oz beans (we prefer a mix of either black beans, chickpeas, seasoned chili beans or kidney beans)

-Vegetable bouillon paste with 3 cups of warm

-3 cups of water

-Tostito style chips

-Shredded/Parmesan cheese to taste

Perfect recipe for a crock pot, Instant Pot or stove top!

Add olive oil to your pot. Saute chopped onions, carrots and celery in the pot and sprinkle seasonings to taste. Saute until they appear translucent.

Dump in all the cans (crushed tomatoes, fire roasted tomatoes and beans) and mix well. Then add the “Better than Bouillon” vegetable base to the warmed water to create a broth and add it to the mixture. Lastly, add 8oz of dried lentils and stir well.

Begin to warm up the chili. On instant pots there is a chili setting that takes about 15 minutes and with the crockpot or stove top you may want to cook for 30 minutes.

After it’s all ready to go and your house smells amazing be sure to add any additional seasoning you may need, shredded cheese and /or Parmesan with chips for dipping🍲
